Calling on the experiences of Grandpa Zwahlen's youth, and with diligent effort, he built a successful farming and dairy business. Recalling another aspect of his Swiss heritage, a love of ice cream. Grandpa became known for making ice cream in a hand-cranked freezer, utilizing the cream and fruits produced on his farm.
Like Grandpa Zwahlen, I love really good ice cream, as do all the members of my family. Zwahlen's is the best we have found and we enjoy it often in large generous quantities. Homemade Ice cream. I think Surprize is my favorite flavor. I love their yoders. It's two huge cookies of your choice with homemade ice cream between them. They have several ice creams each day to choose from.They have homemade candy too. Their Chocolate & caramel covered pretzel rods are the bomb!
