My name is Kathi Lafferty. I own The Growing Tree. This business was started on our back porch when our girls were 6 and 4 and our son was 2 years old. It was November of 1984 and my mother passed away in March of that year. In moving to Kennett Square in 1997, the phone company offered me 610-444-8484 - two significant things happened in my life in 1984 - Wow - It was meant to be. Fast Forward - we have added women's consignments along with the children's and in 2010 and this year we had a Prom Dress event. Did you see us on NBC 10? We gave a portion of proceeds back to After Prom! Call Louise (Weezie) to schedule your consignment appointments. Bring your best items - we pay 60% to consignors - if you don't want anything back - 50% if you do. Free parking at 114 W Scarlett Alley.
