Sassafras Bar reopened in June of 2008. Great care was taken not to change the character of the classic bar. It boasts original tile and woodwork, dating back to the early 1900s. It's the perfect place to enjoy a classic cocktail or pint with neighborhood friends.

THE BEST veggie burger I have ever had--ever,-- and I'm not even vegetarian! I also LA-LA-LOVE their ostrich burger. Yum!!

Not only is Sass one of the prettiest bars I have ever been in, but they always has a great beer selection and something inventive and delicious brewing in their infusion jar. They also have the BEST veggie burgers in the city.

Terrific atmosphere, beautiful staff coupled with awsome food & drinks!!! What more could you ask for?? We love it!!!!
