Richie Rosati - Inside Your Love - Electric Radio Mix

Richie Rosati is a Recording Artist, ASCAP Songwriter, ASCAP Music Publisher, and National Television Host who works with numerous record labels, digital distribution companies and television networks. Richie Rosati currently has pop songs airing on radio stations across the USA and overseas.

Rosati grew up in a musical, Roman Catholic, Italian, family and attended the Girard Academic Music Program High School in Philadelphia (GAMP). After graduating from high school, he attended college at Philadelphia University. While in college he began modeling in runway fashion shows and was approached by casting reps from Stephen J. Cannell Productions. Rosati was asked to audition for a part in the ABC movie of the week titled "Scandals" with Lindsay Wagner and landed his first major tv acting role.

Rosati then packed his bags and left Philadelphia to live and work in Hollywood, California.

While Rosati was living and promoting his career in Hollywood, and landing roles in various television shows, he met and began working with his first record producer, George Reich. Reich and Rosati met while Rosati was hanging out pushing song demos on dance club dj's at various Hollywood night spots and the two began collaborating.

Reich took Rosati under his wing and the two began working out of Reich's recording studio in Hollywood on a song demo for Rosati's first single "Fast & Nasty Girl". This single would later become Rosati's first commercially played recognizable radio single.

"I had no clue what I was doing back then. I was broke and living hand to mouth. I knew how to write music and lyrics to my own songs, but I really didn't know much about the technical end of everything in the studio. I learned really fast though in George's studio in Hollywood. I spent hours there when I wasn't acting. We'd record until the wee hours of the night", Rosati said.

Both Reich and Rosati began shopping the completed song demo to Los Angeles and New York City record labels. Hollywood DJ's started playing the song demo in dance clubs right away. Rosati wasn't satisfied. He wanted radio play.

His demo then caught the attention of DJ Vinny Lombardi back in Rosati's hometown Philadelphia. Lombardi was a college radio DJ for WPWT 91.7 FM Dance Radio. This college station began spinning Rosati's music on the radio airwaves as Rosati continued working towards getting commercial radio station airplay.

When Rosati's talent agency relocated their offices to New York City, Rosati headed back east as well. While promoting out of New York now, he met and started working with another record producer named Rob Federici. Federici asked Rosati to redo the song demo on a more advanced level so that larger commercial radio stations could air the song.

Rosati then met Pam Grund Bucci. With the help of Music Director Pam Grund Bucci and Program Director Glenn Kalina, the commercial version of Fast & Nasty Girl made it onto the airwaves of Philadelphia's most popular dance radio station WIOQ-Q102 FM in Rosati's hometown Philadelphia. Rosati said, "Pam Grund Bucci granted me an interview and after we met she convinced Kalina to give me a chance by adding my song to the Q102 play list. That add opened up so many doors for me once I was commercially heard. I will always be thankful to Pam Grund Bucci who encouraged me, supported me, and who gave me my first commercial radio station airplay break. Pam made my dream of being played on a Clear Channel commercial radio station come true. To receive that kind of attention in my hometown made it even more special to me. Thank you Pam Grund Bucci for believing in me when nobody else did!"

From the massive airplay Rosati received on that station, and with the help of Woody Dyer and Nate DeLego, Rosati landed a distribution deal with Universal Records Distribution. As Rosati's first single continued to be played on Q102 FM, other US top forty stations jumped on the band wagon and started airing the song as well.

Rosati said, "I felt relieved. The distributor did much of the foot work for me as far as shipping the single to worldwide stores so I was able to spend more time creating my music and deal with the radio Music and Program Directors more exclusively."

It was during this time that Rosati landed a part in the film titled "Home Of Angels" opposite Sherman (George Jefferson) Hemsley and Abe (Fish) Vigoda. Rosati said, "I remember while doing the film groups of young kids who were fans of my song on Q102 would hang out on the movie set. The director of the film didn't know I had a song on the radio until all of these kids showed up with my CD in hand asking me to sign it. It was very surreal to me. I think the Director felt he should of given me a much bigger role after that."

Rosati then recorded the single "Metropolis", which caught the attention of Henry Stone and Paul Klein who owned the internationally distributed dance record label HOT Records, which was based out of Miami. The executives at HOT Records matched Rosati with yet another young Producer named Bobby "LA" LaSerra, who owned and operated the HOT Records sub label Strong Island Records. LaSerra, Rosati, and the executives at HOT Records released several mixes of the song "Metropolis" worldwide.

Rosati said, "I use to call Paul and the HOT executives everyday. I would come up with all kinds of marketing and PR ideas to run by them. Since I consider myself to be a good self marketer, I just couldn't sit back and do nothing. I was a real pain to them but they loved me for it."

Rosati then released another dance single titled "Inside Your Love" which obtained even more US radio and overseas play. This song is featured on this page.
His current single is a pop single titled "Hollywood" which is getting radio play in the US and overseas now.

While Rosati continues hosting and acting on TV, he is back in the recording studio again recording new music.

Rosati's singles continue to be aired on commercial radio both in the US and overseas and be sure to catch him on your TV!
