Although casual and fairly inexpensive Radicchio Cafe comes with a pedigree, in fact it was opened in the year 2000 by the owner of Laceno Italian Grill, a popular and long established Italian restaurant in Voorhees, South Jersey. And from the very first day was an instant success! But please, do not take our word for it! If you are new to Philadelphia and are planning to have a really nice dinner, just ask your friends or the Concierge. Chance are they will say "if you want to have some great Italian food at a fair price You must try Radiccio Cafe. That place is just incredible. And if you go, do not forget to bring your favorite bottle of wine." Indeed, that is the exact description of Radicchio Cafe! Since its opening however, there have been some changes. We renovated the entire place, expanded our window area and added some noise absorbent panels (so now you can actually hear your companion talking to you in a very busy night). Of course, some personnel changes have occurred as well.....The only thing that did not change, and you guessed it, was the food, still great and fairly inexpensive! You owe to yourself to try one of the most authentic Italian restaurant in the city. Come in and enjoy the food and the atmosphere, We are open 7 days a week for your convenience. definitely the best meatballs I have ever had - and the cheese plate is excellent
