A newly remodeled facility combined with friendly service has placed Professional Nails, 1811 E. Passyunk Ave., in the winner's circle for favorite nail salon.
"The place is very clean and the customers come in and love it," said Manager Dat Lam & his wife . "We have fun with the customers when we're talking" to them & become friends with them.
Though manicures, pedicures and waxings are prominent, Lam said acrylics with tips are most popular.
Clients at the 13-year-old salon include regulars and walk-ins.
"We have a lot of new customers come in after the remodeling," he said, which included soothing music from iPods, as well as new floors. "We're different because we're friendly and we know how to take care of the customer and we do a good job."
