Andrea Chila, formerly of Diane Von Furstenberg and BCBG Max Azria, has taken ownership of Pileggi Boutique (715 Walnut Street), founded by Philadelphia style icon Joan Pileggi. The boutique, which has been a trusted resource for Philadelphia’s most stylish women since its 1986 inception.
She looked to both coasts to find new or relatively unknown lines, many of which were already staples of her own wardrobe. LA favorites Susana Monaco, Georgie, Single and JBrand will join NY imports Yumi Kim, and Rachel Roy, among others. Philadelphians will now also have access to lines such as Gold Hawk, Chelsea Flower, Lia Kes and EcoSkin, many of which were previously unavailable in the Delaware Valley.
However, Chila has not forgotten the existing Pileggi customer. She’ll continue to stock classic favorites such as Margaret M, Shin Choi, and Jennie Maag. In keeping with the boutique’s reputation for amazing accessories, Kara Ross, Alex and Ani, MZ Wallace and George Gina and Lucy are just a few of the jewelry and handbag lines Chila will offer.
