Since August of 2007, the art of presenting exceptional lunch fare that is sustainable and harmonious with the community and the world around us has been the driving force behind house.
Nestled between State and Baker off of South Jackson Street, house provides one-of a-kind gourmet grilled panini, salads, and house-made soups. Offering all sandwiches on Metropolitan bread, with locally farmed greens, organic produce and fair trade items, house strives to provide a higher quality product without breaking the bank.
House makes the best sandwiches anywhere. They are made with love and all the beauty in the universe. Sometimes, if you're nice, they'll even stack one sandwich on top of another sandwich, like some life-affirming fusion of all the Abrahamic religions. Yeah. House's sandwiches are like the Baha'i faith, but even more cool and casual and welcoming.
They also have amazing soup, like really amazing soup, and home-brewed iced tea and all kinds of great stuff like that. Everyone who works there is friendly.
This is probably the best restaurant that exists, really. They don't try to spread themselves too thin, they don't have an overblown menu or too many options or whatever, whatever.
Everything House does is perfect, put 'em in a magazine or on television already.
