University City's Cavanaugh's is a shining example of what a college bar should be. It's got it all--excellent food, nine fridges stocked full of dozens of take-out beer brands, TVs all over the place, video games, a huge bar fully stocked with liquor and more than a dozen draft beers. During the day, the bar is quiet and inviting, a spacious West Philly oasis. At night, the crowds arrive, and it gets wild, rocking and loud--just as a good college bar should.
