Robin's Bookstore

Robin's is the oldest Independent Bookstore in Philadelphia. My name is Larry Robin and I have lived and worked in Center City for over 58 years. I am the third generation of Robin to operate our Bookstore since my grandfather opened it in downtown Philadelphia in 1936. Center City Philadelphia is again becoming the cultural center and friendly neighborhood it was in my youth. In the last year many office buildings have been converted to apartments, new hotels are about to open and the Avenue of theArts is becoming more than just a name. Welcome to our neighborhood.
