Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu United offers training in the arts of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, MMA and Kettlebell fitness. Our programs are perfect for men, women and children. Our programs are beginner friendly so experience is not necessary. It is our job to help you reach your goals (leisure, exercise, competition, pro fighter). We serve all walks of life from DEA Agents to Scientists.

Jared Weiner, owner and head instructor, is a first degree black belt under Lloyd Irvin. Wilson Reis is a black belt from Godoi Jiu-Jitsu in Sao Paulo, Brasil and currently undefeated in the Elite XC. Sharon Bonewicz is one of the few female black belts in the sport. All of our instructors are active competitors who are highly decorated with local, national, international and world titles and medals. We teach what we use to win to produce champions.

We also have the city leading Women's Self Defense program and seminars by Sharon Bonewicz. Sharon offers affordable self defense with the renown and highly sought after FLAG program. "Fight Like A Girl " has been tried and tested and around for over 20 years. It has evolved with the times but it is easy to remember and do. Real life sexual assault scenarios are the focus where we discuss and practice techniques to avoid and escape.

Classes are for Men, Women and Children (6 yrs and up - and now offering a women's only class)

As Philadelphia's chapter of Team LLoyd Irvin we offer a no-nonsense 30 day FREE trial. We offer a 10% discount to Law enforcement officials, Fire Fighters, Armed Services and students (bring id).
